There was always a saying, : When you close your eyes and wish in front of a meteor, your dreams will surely come true! I do always LOVE meteor, especially meteor shower!! But, i'm not into any myth of it. For me, to see them shooting across you, i'm happy and surely, i'll scream!! =pMy first experience of seeing meteor was during my taiwan trip last year, erm...approximately between november and december. "WOW" that was my reaction, i got stunned for at least 5 seconds before screaming and shouting out!!! Haha, it was really a memorable memories when i saw something i never expected and deep inside my heart, i wish to see more of them in my life!!! My dream nia................=p
You would never believed, 2nd chance just hit into my face! In other words, yesterday midnight. I saw news bout meteor shower in fb. *muackz to fb* I fight for chance to go to pd wif my buddies just to watch meteor shower during midnight. Actually i quarrel wif my mom because of this matter, but for me-worth it!! I was never allowed to be back home after 12am. But, meteor trip to pd will crush this rule till pieces. The time predicted to be bak home is before 5am. Oh gosh, it's too over! Never mind never mind...i'll just got scold oli...........sweat!
Laying on the cold and sanding beach, putting ur all concentration towards the dark shinny sky, singing songs wif ur bunch of buddies, it is really enjoyable. We actually waited for almost 5 hours there. Finally we reap our efforts between 2-4am. I saw 20++ meteors in 2 hours!! OMG, tat was magnificient, wonderful, marvellous!!! 13 durah leng scream all the way long when we saw meteor shooting across our face. Some are easy to detect, but most nid patience and straining of eyes. Btw, i enjoyed soooo much as one of my dreams come true!! I thank Him so much as these are all chances tat He gave me. I love you!!
These are researches bout wat i saw this dawn :" During the 2009 Leonid meteor shower, you may see anywhere from 30 to 300 shooting stars an hour, depending on whether you're in the right place to see Tuesday's showy peak before dawn, experts predict. But in Asia, the peak happens during predawn hours, so observers there will have a front row seat for this year's display."
And here comes the name of the meteor shower, Leonid Meteor Shower. The Leonids are so named because they seem to radiate from the constellation Leo, the lion, which rises above the northeastem horizon. "The most spectacular meteor shower is probably the Leonids, the King of Meteor Showers[10] which peaks on a day near 17 November. Approximately every 33 years the Leonid shower produces a "meteor storm", peaking at rates of thousands of meteors per hour."
So guys, it means that the meteor shower yesterday appear 33years once!! I'm really flying in the sky...i'm soooo blessed to see them yesterday!! Imagine in 33 years time, i'm 51 year-old. I'm almost an old lady and i'm sure busy wif my job, my hubby, my children, my boss, my............actually i dont think i will have another better chance to watch them under the beach wif my buddies, singing songs and crap all day long until 5am!!!
Cant sleep. When i close my eyes, i see stars shimmering, meteor flying across, smell the salty sea, feel the cold land breeze. I still can hear friends singing songs along and ppl laughing and running around wif laughters. Heard kb saying he wants to dump me into the sea, my head laying on lco's hand *maaf ya*. Sweet dreams and a beautiful midnightmare.....
